Assistant Coach, Men’s Basketball

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Experience coordinating academics and mentoring students.
• Have served in some capacity in a Division I basketball program as a player or a coach.
• Minimum two years experience of coaching as a full time or graduate assistant coach.
• Knowledge of the academic side of coaching.
• History of successful recruiting.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
• Valid vehicle operator’s license and a driving record acceptable for coverage by the university’s insurance carrier.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Division I rules and regulations.
• Master’s Degree.
