Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- One year’s relevant experience.
Major Duties:
- Prepares and teaches seminars on life-skills topics including career development, sports management/administration, leadership, financial literacy/education, and personal branding.
- Provides academic support services where needed; develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive learning initiatives programs for student-athletes.
- Oversees and executes all community service/outreach events and initiatives, including community, camps/clinics, alumni and fundraising events.
- Coordinates with the marketing department on developing and implementing marketing initiatives.
- Assists in the overall leadership and direction of student-athlete development within the athletics department and student-athlete organizations, as well as developing, implementing, and facilitating personal and professional development programming.
- Coordinate with athletic business office and Head Coach on budget and business operations.
- Assists the Head Coach with recruiting and teaching a team of student-athletes the skills of their sport, team building skills and mentoring student athletes in personal/professional development.
