Assistant Coach, Men’s Lacrosse

Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for a part-time Assistant Coach for our Men's Lacrosse team. This position is located onsite in Manchester, NH. You will report to the Head Coach of our Men's Lacrosse team.

In this Role You'll Get To:

• Participate in the leading and implementing the preseason and season practices. Help monitor conditioning programs.
• Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress. Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting. Ensure the best performance of athletes during games
• Recruit prospective student athletes.
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.
• Transport University Vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coaches meetings.
• Additional responsibilities can be assigned with discussion between the Head Coach, Director of Athletics and the Assistant Coach.
• Manage our social media accounts.
• Attendance is required at the annual athletic awards banquet, any NE-10 conference meetings, any all-star balloting or voting meetings, and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 1+ years of coaching experience offensive and defensive strategies at the collegiate, club, or high school level.
• Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA.
• Valid operator/drivers license is required.
