Assistant Coach of Women’s Soccer

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the head coach in the planning and execution of practices and skill development in both the fall competitive season and the spring developmental season.
• Managing the recruiting database.
• Assisting with the identification and recruitment of qualified student athletes who can succeed in the challenging academic environment at Williams.
• Scheduling and travel.
• Assist with video analysis, game breakdown and opponent scouting.
• Working at Williams camps and clinics.
• Goalkeeper practices and development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Collegiate playing and/or 2-5 years of coaching experience.
• Experience coaching girls’ or women’s soccer preferred.
• Goalkeeper coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA Division III policies and ability to abide by these.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively required.
• Valid Driver’s license. Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check is also a condition of employment in order to be able to drive college vehicles and/or transport students.
