Assistant Coach – Swim

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

• Teacher fundamentals and skills.
• Organize practice sessions.
• Provide for prevention and care of injuries.
• Conform to the rules established by the Principal’s Committee on Athletics.
• Teach rules and regulations of the sport.
• Display good sportsmanship.
• Responsible for issuing, maintaining and collecting of equipment.
• Supervision of team members at all times.

DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

• Ability to establish rapport with athletes on the team.
• Loyalty to superiors, school and contemporaries.
• Dedication to the service of youth.
• Consideration of academic achievement of athletes.
