Description
Stanford University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in assisting with the horizontal and vertical jumps. This is a twelve-month, full-time, full-benefited position that reports to the Director of Track and Field. You will be directly responsible for administering and/or assisting with the Director in all areas related to the success of the Track and Field program within the Division I intercollegiate program and the policies established by the NCAA, ACC and Stanford University.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience coaching men’s and women’s jumps at the college/university level.
- A minimum of five years of experience coaching men’s and women’s jumps at the college/university level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all jumps is required.
- A passion for coaching and developing student-athletes.
- Demonstrated passion for coaching and developing student-athletes.
- Assess, identify and recruit top student-athletes to compete at Stanford,
- Ability to assess, identify, and recruit top student-athletes to compete at Stanford,
- Ability to help arrange team travel logistics for practices and competitions.
- Ability to coordinate team travel logistics for practices and competitions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- A history of acting in a manner that is based on integrity.
