Assistant Coach, Women’s Basketball

Duties:

• Assist Head Coach with recruiting.
• Assist Head Coach with scouting and film.
• Assist Head Coach with organization and execution of summer camps.
• Assist Head Coach with scheduling and organizing team related activities.
• Assist Head Coach with player development program.
• Handle all basketball operations: including but not limited to travel arrangements, food, and hotels.
• Monitor academic progress of student-athletes.
• Maintain current knowledge and abides by policies, procedures, and rules of NCAA/HCAC.
• Demonstrates integrity and upholds the values and mission of the University.
• Maintains relationships with media and public to enhance the promotion of the University.
• Supports entire athletic program.
• Other duties appropriate to skills and training as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Proficient in the use of: Coaching, University vans, audiovisual, Microsoft, Macintosh, First Aid, and CPR.
• Preferred proficient in the use of software: Synergy Sports, Fast Scout, Fast Draw, Slate, Boxout Sports.
