Assistant Coach, Women’s Basketball

The Assistant Coach of Women's Basketball will assist the Head Basketball Coach in team management and administration and to reinforce the athletics department and university goals.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Recruit and evaluate quality student-athletes.
• Train and teach student-athletes both on and off of the court.
• Help to Maintain compliance with NCAA departmental and University rules and regulations.
• Assist in establishing game plans.
• Coordinate Team Travel.
• Maintain correspondence with recruits.
• Assist with preparing the budget and program fundraising efforts.
• Coordinate film exchange, game day management for home and visiting teams, and equipment purchase and maintenance.
• Maintain positive public relationships with the university and the community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have coaching experience.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
