The Department of Athletics exists to provide educational and athletic opportunities to young men and women, to provide an environment for student-athletes to learn, advance and excel both academically and athletically, and to serve the interests of the University by complimenting and enhancing its diversity and quality of life. Through its athletic programs, the University seeks to unite alumni, faculty, administration and students in a common shared experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Women’s Lacrosse program including but not limited to practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics etc. and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program.
- Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel and recruit academically qualified students.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.

At least one year of experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level.

Knowledge of and familiarity of NCAA rules and regulations.

Good organizational, interpersonal communications and computer skills necessary.

Must be able to lift/move 25lbs or greater with or without reasonable accommodation. May be required to navigate stairs. Attention to detail essential. Must be able to manage high volume, fast paced environment. May be subject to working in extreme weather conditions. Travel required.
