Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides consultation and expert advice to Head Coach and team members.
- Prepares, plans, conducts, and evaluates practice sessions, as directed.
- Teaches individuals and groups of players’ specific tasks and skills before, during and after practice, during season and off-season.
- Teaches player-to-player defense and offense, as requested.
- Teaches progressions and drills during daily practice time. Is available to coaches and players before, during and after practices, games, and events.
- Scouts future opponents by film, watching games, and need and knowledge of use in all volleyball data programs.
- Engages in lead work: plans, assigns, and approves work, discipline/rewards, and responds to grievances.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in field of choice.
- Playing or coaching experience in the sport of Volleyball at an NCAA Division I institution or the equivalent (international and/or Olympic coaching experience).
- Demonstrated ability to recruit elite student athletes.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate in a manner that shows respect and inclusivity for student athletes, student workers and colleagues.
- A working knowledge of NCAA Division I Rules and Regulations.
