Description
This position reports to the Head Women's Volleyball Coach and assists the head coach with all aspects of running a successful Division I Volleyball program. This includes organizing and administering intercollegiate sport. May supervise a staff and/or have budgetary responsibility. May conduct practices, identify and recruit qualified student-athletes, develop competitive schedules, coordinate team travel, and insure compliance with governing rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and utilize sound coaching methods aimed to improve the performance of student athletes include academics.
- Assist with monitoring of student athlete academics.
- Assist with planning and supervision of in-season and out-of-season practice sessions; team and individual practices.
- Secure all aspects of team travel for games.
- Manages Purchase Card transactions and balances each statement with receipts, team rosters and justifications in accordance with University policy.
- Assist with scouting of opponents, recruiting and creation of meeting entry line-ups for each competition in accordance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Horizon League and UW-Green Bay.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree at time of application.
- 3 years coaching at the collegiate level.
- Working knowledge of NCAA and Horizon League rules and regulations.
