Description
This 80% FTE position assists the Head Coach in all phases of the NCAA Division I wrestling program, with a primary focus on coaching and student-athlete development. Will also provide support for video analysis and instruction, limited recruiting, and administrative duties such as coordinating meet, training, and travel schedules, and completing compliance information.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, required.
- 1-3 years coaching experience with a competitive club, high school or collegiate program; Prior collegiate coaching & recruiting experience preferred (and/or a combination of coaching & competitive wrestling experience)
- Competitive collegiate and/or international wrestling experience, preferred.

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & computer skills, necessary.
- Ability to recruit within NCAA & Ivy League rules.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and relate well to students
- Excellent sport specific technical, tactical and strategic knowledge.
- Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Basic proficiency in excel, word, internet & email capabilities.
- Social media experience, helpful.
- Familiarity with FrontRush and Teamworks, or similar, preferred.
- Prior experience with video editing software, helpful.
- Commitment to the student-athlete, passion for the game and ability to coach & motivate.
- The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background and Education check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
