The Assistant Cross Country Coach assists the Head Coach in the total administration and coordination of the cross country program. This includes recruiting, conducting practices, off-season conditioning, scheduling of meets, travel arrangements, fundraising, and other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
1. Previous club, high school, or college coaching experience.
2. Technical knowledge of the sport of cross country.
3. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
4. Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
