Description
The University of South Alabama’s Athletic Development department is seeking to hire a Assistant Director, Athletic Development. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions:
- Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards donors with an emphasis on restricted giving, including a caseload of 50-100 donors with annual giving between $500 and $10k.
- Works with specific teams and coaches on engagement and solicitation strategies for special projects and needs.
- Accesses and maintains donor and prospect information via Raisers Edge.
- Creates and distributes publications associated with restricted giving and stewardship.
- Assists with planning and implementation of the department’s fundraising priorities.
- Manages Athletic Endowments with the assistance of campus development.
- Acts as liaison to National Alumni Association.
- Assists the Associate Dir – Development with solicitation, coordination of donors to the Jaguar Athletic Fund, and implementation of strategies to identify specific team needs and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and one year of professional experience in athletic fundraising, education fundraising or related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
