Using various multimedia over multiple platforms, provides content creation services for University of Houston Athletics.
Under the leadership and direction of external facing Department leaders, creates content to execute strategic marketing and business plans designed to positively influence and generate increased engagement for and with UH Athletics.
Works toward the goal of growing the UH Cougar brand by performing content creation duties.
Captures, produces, edits, writes and creates content for game day and digital platform productions.
Produces video broadcasts, video content and live event streams (including working with web/package providers) for all sports. This can include oversight of filming and producing of segments and features for both digital and linear platforms.
Produces engaging and timely content as designated for digital platforms, social media, and in-venue video boards.
Shoots and edits content for long form, short form, promotional spots and documentaries.
Develops and executes graphics intended to promote UH brand and story continuity.
Develops and executes photography intended to promote UH brand and story continuity.
Assists in maintaining an effective digital archive for UH Athletics.
In all settings and in all situations, serve as a positive Ambassador for UH Athletics and UH in general. Performs other job-related duties as required.
Bachelors and 1 year experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional disciplines.
Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related, 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
