Assistant Director Sports Medicine

As the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine, you will work closely with the Director of Sports Medicine, providing exceptional healthcare services to our student-athletes. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the physical, mental, emotional, and educational well-being of our athletes, while delivering high-quality medical care to support their performance and recovery.

Key Accountabilities:

• Implement strategies to prevent injuries among student-athletes.
• Assess and diagnose injuries, develop treatment plans, and oversee rehabilitation programs.
• Provide the utmost quality of health care for all student-athletes.
• Provide immediate medical care and attention to injured student-athletes.
• Coordinate emergency response protocols and procedures.
• Ensure student-athletes' physical and mental well-being.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Sports Medicine or related field.
• One to three years of work experience.
• Experience as a Certified/Licensed Athletic Trainer in the collegiate setting preferred.
• NATA National Certification preferred.
• State Licensure preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
