Assistant Football Coach

The Assistant football coach is to support the Head Coach in the planning, organization, and administration of the football program. To coach a specific position as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes.
• Maintain positive constructive working relationships with student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community.
• At all times promote the Football program in a positive way.
• Specific position practice plans and execution.
• Assist in practice planning, organization, and on-the-field coaching.
• Assist in game preparations including film breakdown and review.
• Game day duties o Help supervise the team during away contest.
• Organize and participate in fund-raising activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Football knowledge required and playing experience desired.
• Ability to demonstrate football related skills, interpersonal skills between students, staff, alumni and friends of the University.
