Description
The Assistant football coach is to support the Head Coach in the planning, organization, and administration of the football program. To coach a specific position as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules.
- Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes.
- Maintain positive constructive working relationships with student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community.
- At all times promote the Football program in a positive way.
- Specific position practice plans and execution.
- Assist in practice planning, organization, and on-the-field coaching.
- Assist in game preparations including film breakdown and review.
- Game day duties o Help supervise the team during away contest.
- Organize and participate in fund-raising activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Football knowledge required and playing experience desired.

Ability to demonstrate football related skills, interpersonal skills between students, staff, alumni and friends of the University.
