Description
Assistant Football Coaches will work under the guidance of the Head Football Coach. They will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, mentoring and developing their assigned groups while also assisting with all other student-athletes.
Duties:
- Organizes, prepares, and conducts individual and team practices and training for his assigned unit, preparing them for competition.
- Recruits student-athletes in accordance with NJCAA and MACCC rules and regulations through scouting, attending competitions, and home visits.
- Provides direction and discipline for players.
- Monitors student athlete’s academic progress.
- Represents sports program to various institutional programs and externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, students, parents, and the general public.
- Maintains the facilities and equipment associated with football program.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Will instruct academic classes as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Required.
- Master’s degree Preferred.
- Two-Five years of coaching experience preferred.
- Professional experience playing and college or professional coaching experience preferred.
