Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
- Willing and able to work nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to fulfill duties of the position including being able to lift up to 50 lbs. and having the mobility needed to demonstrate skills and manage the movement required in practices/contests.
- Knowledge of NCAA and/or RMAC rules and regulations.
- Able to demonstrate successful skills in cooperation, organization, communication and problem solving.
- Able to be successful in a diverse environment.
Duties:
- Coaches student-athletes, including coaching at all team practices, training sessions, and games.
- Serves as wide receivers coach.
- Help develop game preparation and strategy for offensive unit under direction of the offensive coordinator and head coach.
- Condition and develop student-athletes to develop skill, character, and teamwork in football in order to compete for conference and national championships.
- Recruit qualified prospective student-athletes in coordination with the strategic vision of the head coach.
- Monitor player academics including student-athlete welfare and encourage academic excellence and graduation.
