Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Assistant Golf Coach performs responsibilities as assigned by the Head Women's Golf Coach.
- This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity and reputation of Emory University and the Athletics program, and positively impacts the relationship between the University and its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community.
- Managerial Duties - Leads and manages the golf operation of the home event (emails, builds relations, handles all detail on finances and scheduling).
- Coordinates and arranges travel for the team.
- Assists and supports the financial operations office by completing required processes, requests, and tasks in a timely manner in relation to the program.
- Analyzes video and statistical data to further develop and improve student-athlete performance.
- Coordinates strategic communication and media relations efforts.
- Communicates with Sports Medicine, Sports Information, Strength and Conditioning, and administrative staff when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with NCAA, UAA, and institutional policies and procedures. Attends department and Campus Life meetings and events as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in public relations, operations, or business, and one year of related experience, OR a master's degree in business, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Two years of previous playing experience is preferred.
