Assistant Ice Hockey Coach

In this Role You'll Get To:

• Participate in the leading and execution of preseason and season practices. Help monitor conditioning programs.
• Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress. Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting. Ensure our athlete's best during games.
• Help us recruit prospective student athletes.
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.
• Bring University vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coaches meetings.
• Demonstrate your knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA.
• Attend all practices and home/away games.
• Additional tasks can be assigned with discussion between the Head Coach, Director of Athletics and the Assistant Coach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3+ years of playing or coaching experience at the high school, junior, or college hockey level.
• Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured by the university's auto insurance carrier to drive on campus when needed.
