Description
The Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach is fully responsible for compliance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulations as well as Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) rules and all College policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the conduct of in-season and out-of-season training sessions.
- At course coaching responsibility for men’s and women’s golfers.
- Evaluating talent and recruiting prospective student-athletes.
- Demonstrated commitment to NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
- Participating in community service and fund-raising activities.
- Comply with all administrative staff on reports and forms that need to be completed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Progressive experience as a coach in the sport; collegiate experience preferred.
- Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
- Advanced computer skills.
- An understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges in the environment of private higher education.
- Have, or be willing to obtain, a Missouri Class E Driver’s License.
