The person who holds this position will assist with all phases of the basketball program. Duties include but not limited to coaching, recruiting, departmental fund-raising, and game management.
Requires lifting and operating basketball equipment, prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping or stretching. Must be able to lift and operate sports and court related equipment up to 50 pounds.
Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, strong management and organizational skills, reasoning/analysis, ability work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving, decision-making, and high degree of interpersonal skills is required. Work is performed in an indoor/outdoor environment, in gymnasiums and other athletic facilities.
Hiring process includes ability to pass a background check, a valid U.S Driver’s license and a good driving record.
