Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, Athletics and Recreation Department

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• On-court coaching.
• Developing student-athletes bon on- and off-the court to be successful post-graduation.
• Recruiting skilled prospective student-athletes that match the mission of Marywood University.
• Developing and working with a budget.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA, Conference and Marywood University policies and procedures.

COMPETENCIES:

• Strong knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong collaboration with coaching staff and others through the Athletic Department and University.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to work both in groups and in isolation.
• Extensive work hours to include nights and weekends plus late evenings, early mornings and some holidays.
• Travel is extensive between team competition and recruiting travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
