Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach

The Part Time Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Lacrosse Coach in all areas of running a highly successful NAIA lacrosse program.

Responsibilities:

• Perform job duties in accordance with Columbia College’s vision, mission and values, and contributes to the development of the Athletic Department.
• Maintain the integrity of the athletic program through the knowledge and application of NAIA rules and regulations.
• Assist the Head men's lacrosse coach in all day-to-day operations of the program including, but not limited to the following tasks:
• Identification of potential student-athletes, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, and maintenance of recruitment files.
• Organization and coordination of daily practice plans.
• Game day preparations, including field set-up and break down, uniform and equipment preparation, game-plan preparation, warm-up activities, and game evaluation.
• Inventory management of uniforms and equipment, and input into purchasing decisions on new equipment.
• Video operations and analysis.
• Scouting of opponents.
• Monitoring and supervision of student-athletes, to include athletic activities, academic progress, eligibility concerns and disciplinary issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous coaching and recruiting experience.
