Description
Under general direction of the men's soccer head coach, assist in all aspects of the NCAA Division I men's soccer program including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, assisting with the administration of summer camps and clinics, and administration of the men's soccer program in full compliance with NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Be CPR certified bi-annually. Current CPR & First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days from date of hire and certified bi-annually.
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and /or equivalent experience / training with a college level program.
- Coaching and/or playing experience in the sport of soccer, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of the rules and strategies of men's soccer. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies, and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.
Physical Demands:
- Standing - Frequent 3 to 6 Hours.
- Walking - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Sitting - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Lifting/Carrying 0-25 Lbs - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Lifting/Carrying 26-50 lbs - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Pushing/Pulling 0-25 Lbs - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Pushing/Pulling 26-50 lbs - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
- Reaching overhead - Occasional Up to 3 Hours.
