Assistant Men’s & Women’s Golf Coach

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking applicants for a full-time, fixed term Assistant Coach in its intercollegiate Men’s & Women’s Golf program. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Recruitment of potential student-athletes, practice and tournament planning, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program.
• Supervision of the golf strength and conditioning program
• Home event management and other assigned administrative duties, as well as teaching in the physical education program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of collegiate coaching experience or the equivalent coaching/teaching as a PGA or LPGA golf professional and/or instructor.
• A proven history of competitive tournament play is preferred, but not required.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
