Assistant Principal / Athletic Director

Provides dynamic leadership under the direction of the principal in the school by creating educational options which lead to academic growth and achievement for all students through a thorough knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, supervision and evaluation, staff professional learning, community engagement, and positive school culture; implements a student-focused vision and collaborative leadership style to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.

Responsibilities:

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards.
• Collaboratively develops the vision, mission, and strategic plan, based on a cycle of continuous improvement of student outcomes, and facilitate their integration into the school community.
• Collaborates with staff and stakeholders to implement strategies for change to improve student outcomes.
• Demonstrates organizational leadership by strategically developing a vision and mission, leading change, enhancing the capacity of personnel, distributing resources, and aligning systems of communication for continuous school improvement.
• Establishes and effectively manages systems that ensure high-quality staff.
• Establishes systems and partnerships for managing all available school resources to facilitate improved student outcomes.
