Description
The Assistant Soccer Coach will report to the Director of Soccer Programs. The Assistant Soccer Coach will assist the men’s and women’s soccer programs in coaching and operational management duties.
Typical Duties:
- Responsible for instruction and development of student athletes.
- Assists in all aspects of coaching and mentoring all student-athletes.
- Oversees men’s and women’s soccer home contest planning, setup, preparation, take-down and execution of game management.
- Oversight of the use and maintenance of all soccer related equipment, supplies and gear including inventory management.
- Assist with all travel arrangements for teams in accordance with all proper MCC guidelines.
- Assists with all MCC Soccer clinics and camps and may perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NJCAA, Conference, and Region 1 rules and regulations as well as dedication to the entire academic development of student-athletes, are essential requirements.
- Associates degree.
- At least five years coaching experience with a competitive club, high school or collegiate program; Prior collegiate coaching experience preferred (and/or a combination of coaching and competitive playing experience).
- Preference given to candidates who played at a collegiate or professional level.
