Assists the athletic director and head softball coach with the planning, promotion, and administration of the Women’s Softball program.
Assists with conducting and supervising softball practice.
Assists with organizing and supervising conditioning and weights.
Assists with video assessment and scouting opponents.
Assists with study hall and academic counseling.
Assists in all recruiting functions.
Assists with the distribution and maintenance of all team equipment, uniforms and apparel.
Assists with organizing and the execution of clinics and workouts.
Maintains accurate stats and assists with game management.
Bachelor’s degree in health, physical education or related degree.
Successful softball coaching and/or playing experience at NCAA, NAIA, NWAC collegiate level.
Recruiting experience at the collegiate level.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work professionally with student, staff, faculty, and others.
Ability to handle the physical demands of team practice and competition.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Qualifying veterans and disabled veterans may obtain preference by submitting as verification of eligibility a copy of the Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214 or 215) or a letter from the US Dept. of Veteran's Affairs indicating receipt of a non-service connected pension to your application.
