Description
The Assistant Softball Coach is responsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Softball Coach. This position is also responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- One-year collegiate coach or professional softball/baseball playing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with an elite team as a player or coach (i.e. National Team, Professional, DI Athletics - Power 5 Conference).
- Proven success as a defensive specialist.
- Experience as a successful head coach.
- Experience recruiting student-athletes.
- Experience as a successful head collegiate or professional softball coach.
