Assistant Softball Coach

The Assistant Softball Coach assists the Head Softball Coach with all facets of the program; to include organization, development, and leadership of a highly competitive Division II softball program in support of the mission and core values of Tuskegee University.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist the head coach with instructing players in the rules, regulations, equipment and techniques of the sport.
• Organize and direct individuals and small group practices and exercises as directed.
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to all college, NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
• Assist with recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
• Demonstrate effective teaching/coaching methods and possess excellent leadership skills.
• Assist with games and practice preparations and planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three of more years of coaching experience at a high school or collegiate level.
• Must have knowledge o of NCAA rules and regulations.
