Assistant Softball Coach

Under the supervision of the Women’s Softball Head Coach and athletics department administrators, duties for the assistant coach will include but are not limited to supporting the head coach in all facets of the following expectations:

• Recruitment of in state and out-of-state student athletes,
• Assist in practice plans to prepare for competition,
• Support game day preparations,
• Help organize team travel, including driving college vehicles to away contest,
• Assist with the inventory, maintenance, and returning of all team equipment and gear at the conclusion of the season,
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule that will include days, evenings, and weekends, as needed
• Other duties as assigned,

Requirements:

• Passion for the game of softball.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be personable, approachable, and team-oriented.
• Show a commitment to students’ academic success.
• Willingness to work on a limited budget.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proclivity for attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and be proactive.
