Description
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is directly responsible for establishing, implementing, directing, and supervising the strength and conditioning programs for assigned intercollegiate athletic teams, as well as assisting with the design and implementation of the strength and conditioning of football.
Required Experience:
- Two years in intercollegiate strength and conditioning.
- Implementing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports.
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, email and internet research.
- OSHA blood borne pathogen guidelines.
- Communicating effectively with student-athletes, coaches, staff, facilities personnel, and medical professionals.
- NCAA and conference rules and regulations related to Strength and Conditioning.
Additional Preferred:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited University.
- Previous experience programming for Division I Olympic sports.
- Previous experience coaching Olympic style lifts.
- Knowledge of sports nutrition and previous experience relating information to student-athletes.
- Previous experience in Strength and Conditioning for Division I football.
