Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Hofstra University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Colonial Athletic Association, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements, schedules, and conducts year-round strength and conditioning. programs for select sports based on experience.
• Assists with the daily operation of the strength facilities.
• Maintains the database of assigned student-athletes.
• Assists with the testing of student-athletes.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• CSCS certification with the NSCA or SCCC certification with the CSCCa.
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification by an accredited service provider.
• Minimum two years of full-time, Division I collegiate coaching experience or as a graduate assistant or experience working with a Division I basketball program for a minimum of one basketball season.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
