Assistant Strength Coach

The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking a highly motivated, quality applicant as our assistant strength coach to work with student athletes in grades 7-12 for the 2023-24 school year. This position is paid on the supplemental pay schedule for coaches.

Duties/Commitments:

• Providing a safe working environment for student-athlete training sessions.
• Teaching of proper foundational technique during training sessions.
• Effective communication with student-athletes and parents about program expectations and scheduling.
• Implementing instruction that is derived from the High School S&C model.
• Use of Teambuildr software application to communicate workout specifics.
• Student-Athlete attendance monitoring.
• Quarterly assessments of strength & conditioning growth.
