Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Acknowledgment of the importance of nutrition in the development of the student-athlete and takes an active role to accomplish this.
- Ability to teach and design training programs that incorporate Olympic lifts.
- Thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with NAIA rules and regulations.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches and sports medicine staff.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in motivating student-athletes to achieve maximum levels of performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or a desire to work with weight room technology including programming software, bar velocity monitoring systems and GPS athlete tracking systems.
- Experience in a strength & conditioning program (High School or College).
- Experience with or the knowledge of the organization and administration of off-season intra-team competitions.
- Experience with or knowledge of any of the following nutritional areas: Campus Dining, Fueling Station Operation, Post-Game Meals and Post-Practice Meals and Caterings.
- Experience with learning and administering different systems and approaches to the training athletes and the daily operations of a strength and conditioning program.
