Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, develop, and administer the strength and conditioning program for women’s basketball and women’s soccer student athletes.
- Work closely with the Athletic Training Program and the department medical staff in planning and implementing rehab programs for student-athletes.
- Maintain a safe and effective weight room with a focus on the health and welfare of the student-athlete.
- Administer the program in compliance with all University and NCAA rules and fulfill all duties assigned by the Assistant AD for Sports Performance.
- Supervise strength and conditioning interns.
- Provide supervision of the weight room and conditioning areas to provide the highest possible success for the student athletes.
- Supervise/mentor assigned strength graduate assistant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- A CSCS or SCCC Certification
- CPR and first aid Certified.
- Demonstrate proficiency with programming for women’s basketball and women’s soccer.
- Must possess current AZ Driver’s License.
