Description
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning uses a student-athlete first approach which focuses on the physical development and performance of student-athletes, seeks to contribute to the production of athletic teams that the Endicott Community will be proud of, and ensures the athletes are able to attack all of the demands required by collegiate athletics.
Responsibilities:

Utilizes science based information to enhance the athletic ability of the student athlete and teams they work with.

Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation: Effective collaboration with all athletic performance staff to integrate injury prevention strategies and facilitate efficient rehabilitation, resulting in reduced injury rates and quicker recovery times.

Stays up to date on the latest trends and advancements in athletic performance as well as leadership.

Records and tracks student-athlete progress.

The coach will maintain clear and effective verbal and written communication with sport coaches to ensure alignment and collaboration on training goals and strategies.

Escorting teams/coaches to locker rooms and playing fields.

Supervising the student workers at the event.

Being an site supervisor for the overall operation of an athletics event.
Qualifications:

Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field..

Certified by one or both of the following organizations: NSCA (CSCS) or the CSCCA (SCCC).

Certified in CPR/AED.
-
Possesses the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, work in various environmental conditions.

Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with college-age students.
