Under the supervision of the Director of Strength & Conditioning the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach is responsible to implement, conduct, and monitor strength and conditioning of specified varsity Olympic sports teams; assist with rehabilitation of injured athletes; and assist in management of strength and conditioning facility.
This is a temporary position. This assistant strength and conditioning coach is responsible to work in coordination with current weight room staff to implement, conduct and monitor strength and conditioning programs for varsity teams and sport coaches as assigned. They are to assist with all duties of daily activities in the weight room, teach and coach form and technique of sprinting, agility, lifting and flexibility to all athletes and assist with equipment set-up and break-down before and after workouts. They are responsible for maintenance of weight room equipment as well as other duties as assigned.
