Description
Reporting to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach - Football, the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach - Football is responsible for assisting in developing and administering strength and conditioning programs for Football at Temple University.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
- Minimum of two years related post-undergraduate experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience supervising the physical conditioning, weight-training and nutritional programs of student-athletes.
- Experience with instructing and coaching proper techniques of mobility, plyometrics, speed, agility, explosive and traditional lifting, core training and metabolic conditioning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, and athletic administration.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference and University rules.
