Assistant Swim Coach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Expert Coaching: Utilize your deep understanding of swimming biomechanics to develop and implement effective training programs, progression techniques, and drill-based coaching.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely within a structured, team-wide progressive development plan to ensure consistent and effective training across all levels.
• Lead Practices: Assist in leading practice sessions for groups of up to 30 swimmers, ensuring a safe, engaging, and challenging environment for all athletes.
• Availability: Must be available to coach on weeknights and weekends, aligning with our team practice schedules and competition events.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Must be willing to complete all USA Swimming safety and coaching requirements soon after hire. Current First Aid, CPR, and lifeguard certifications are required.
• Experience: Proven experience and comfort working with children of various ages and skill levels in a coaching or instructive capacity.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage large groups of swimmers, maintaining safety and promoting a positive team atmosphere.
• Background Check: Successful candidates must pass a background check.
