Assistant Swim Coach

The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town has an immediate need for a HAC Assistant Swim Coach in the Parks and Recreation department.

Responsibilities:

• Instructing and supervising young competitive summers.
• Teaching proper competitive swimming techniques, starts, turns, and racing strategies.
• Supervising swimmers at competitive and social events.
• Performing some administrative duties when needed.

What you will need:

• Previous coaching experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification, or the ability to obtain, is required.
• American Red Cross Safety for Swim Coaches certification.
• ASCA Certification is desired.
