Assistant Swimming Coach

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• USA Swimming Coach Member Certification.
• At least 3 years collegiate coaching experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and Coach student athletes with on deck responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Swimming and Diving.
• Evaluate and recruit qualified student athletes to the University of Minnesota whose athletic skills make them highly competitive in the B1G and NCAA, and whose academic abilities make them good candidates for a successful academic experience and graduation from the University of Minnesota.
• Assist the Director of Swimming and Diving, and the Head Swimming Coaches, in all aspects of developing and maintaining a competitive swimming program within the NCAA and B1G Conference, while committing to all requirements necessary to represent the University of Minnesota in a positive fashion.
