Assistant Tennis Coach

Under the direction of the Head Women’s Tennis Coach, Assistant Tennis Coach will play a vital role in supporting the head coach in all aspects of the women's tennis program. This position involves management of practices, individual workouts, match preparation, administrative processes, video analysis, community service programming, and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• At least one year of tennis coaching experience at the collegiate level, elite junior, or professional level.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of Southeastern Conference rules and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to recruit student-athletes who will succeed academically and athletically.
• Ability to foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as necessary.
