Description
Main Duties:
- Share your passion for tennis by conducting private and group lessons with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base. Your mission is to ensure member needs are met and that you enjoy your weekly hours on the court.
- Be a tennis advocate! Promote the sport, suggest classes, groups, and teams to members, and champion good sportsmanship within MAC and the larger tennis community.
- Collaborate with our Head Tennis Coach/Manager on quarterly schedules. Your input on the best classes and optimal times will make our tennis program even more vibrant.
- Create engaging lesson plans for group classes, aligning them with class titles, levels, and goals.
- Jump into the action by organizing and assisting with club events. It's all about making tennis memorable for our members.
Skills and Qualifications:
- You're more than a coach; you're a game-changer. You can spot and correct technical and strategic errors through physical demonstration and clear communication.
- Your tennis knowledge extends beyond coaching, covering equipment, rules, history, and more.
- You're a tennis ace, playing at a National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) level of 4.5 or higher.
- Communicating comes naturally to you. You can hold a conversation with members of all ages and backgrounds.
- Organization is your middle name. Good time management and a strong sense of order are your secret weapons.
- You're physically fit, ready to spend long hours on your feet, running around the tennis court, and leading by example.
- You're tech-savvy, proficient in email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with MAC computer programs.
