Assistant Volleyball Coach

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Women's Volleyball Coach in all areas of the program
• Coach, train, and prepare players to compete at an elite level
• Facilitate a positive and successful team culture
• Develop and implement volleyball systems, strategies, and training methods
• Promote the growth and well being of Husky student athletes on and off the court
• Assist the head coach with all recruiting activities, including off campus evaluations
• Manage recruiting files, communications, and coordinate on campus recruiting visits
• Coordinate team travel: itineraries, hotels, meals, practice times, etc.
• Participate in all practice planning and training activities associated with the tea.

• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and enthusiastic team attitude.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
• Understanding of complex volleyball systems, strategies and rules.
• Ability to effectively teach volleyball skills and train elite level volleyball players.
• Experience running volleyball drills in a competitive practice environment.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to comply with all NCAA rules and regulations.
