Assistant Volleyball Coach

Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Volleyball Coach position. This position will assist the Head Coach with all phases of a Division I Volleyball program including organizing, planning and coaching.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for assisting with phases of a Division I Volleyball program, within University, ACC and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Coach and instruct student-athletes, teaching the fundamentals to prepare student-athletes participating in the sport.
• Assist with recruiting.
• Assist with travel planning.
• Assist with practice planning, scouting and preparation.
• Maintaining necessary compliance documents.
• Assist with home competition operations.
• Other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior playing or coaching experience preferably at the Division I level preferred.
• A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules.
