Assistant Volleyball Coach, Athletics – Division of Student Affairs

Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Athletics is searching for a Full-Time Assistant Volleyball Coach. Core responsibilities include:

• Assist with skill instruction, motivation and ability to conduct practice sessions under direction of the head coach.
• Assist head coach with planning, implementation, and supervision of training and practices.
• Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic, and athletic progress of student athletes.
• Exhibit supportive and cooperation behavior pursuing sport programs goals as set by head coach.
• Demonstrate leadership ability and professional behavior when dealing with student athletes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of athletic coaching experience required.
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
