Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach

Wisconsin Women's Basketball is looking for an experienced Assistant Coach to join the team! This individual should bring coaching experience, strong leadership and communication skills with a unique ability to foster team competitive success while maintaining a strong emphasis on the personal development and academic achievement of student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting prospective student-athletes.
• Scouting opponents and creating game plans.
• Develop student-athlete skills to maximize performance.
• Developing and executing player conditioning plans.
• Performance of administrative and public relations duties.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

• Ability to foster team competitive success while maintaining a strong emphasis on the personal development and academic achievement of student-athletes.
• Excellent communication skills to work with student-athletes, other coaches, and administrators; knowledge of and experience with NCAA and Big Ten rules.
• Ability to be flexible in accepting new responsibilities.
